Shri Krishna Janmastami

On 16th August, 2025, our Vidyalaya celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with grandeur, devotion, and cultural vibrancy. The programme commenced with Puja performed by Shri Brahamananda Dwivedi, teacher, invoking divine blessings. This was followed by a melodious Bhajan rendered by Smt. Bornali Chakraborty along with the students, which created a devotional atmosphere. Soon after, the entire gathering joined in Arati, offering prayers to Lord Krishna with deep reverence. The cultural segment began with a graceful dance by the tiny tots of Balvatika I, followed by an equally delightful dance presentation by Balvatika II and III. Students of Classes I and II presented a charming role play as Radha and Krishna, winning the hearts of all. The last programme of the day was much-awaited ‘Matki Phor’ by the students of Classes III, IV, and V, which recreated the playful childhood of Lord Krishna amidst loud cheers and applause. The celebration was a perfect blend of devotion and joy, successfully conveying the eternal message of Lord Krishna’s life. It concluded with a festive spirit, leaving an everlasting impression on all present.
