Universal Brotherhood Day

In connection with Silver Jubilee Year celebration of the school, Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in 25 different schools of Margherita Sub-Division and a Junior College of Jagun. Students of the school residing near those venues along with two teachers of our school conducted the programmes in collaboration with the host schools.

Sankardev Tithi

Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Tithi was celebrated in the school premises on 4th September, 2024. Students of classes VI to XII participated in the programme. Highlights of the day:

  • Significance of the day by the Principal
  • Satriya Dance by students of class VII

Teachers' Day

On 5th September, 2024 Teachers’ Day was celebrated to commemorate the contribution of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and also to appreciate the hard work and dedication of teachers. From 10.30 am a cultural programme was arranged by the students of classes IX to XII. The programme ended at 12.30 pm.

ATL-Training Session

A training session was organized in Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL) of the school from 27th August to 29th August, 2024. Students from two nearby schools of Baragolai and Ledo along with our school participated in it. Sri Bibhu Prasad Nayak, ATL-Trainner, Guwahati  was the resource person in the workshop. The students worked on the following  models:

Janmashtami

Janmashtami was celebrated in school on 26th August, 2024. Students from classes Balvatika-I to V attended in the programme. The following are the highlights:

  •  Dance programmes by the students of Balvatika.
  •   Exhibition of Gokuldham by Class I, II & III, Rangoli Competition for Class IV &V.
  • Puja and Arati etc.

Madhabdev Tithi

The school observed the day in a befitting way in the morning assembly. The students sang borgeet and dihanaam. A speech was delivered by Km Bhaswati Konwar (Class vii). A teacher of the school Su Uttara Baruah also spoke on the significance of the day. Students from Class VI-XI participated in the programme.

Eknathji Punya Tithi

Eknathji Punyatithi was observed in a short programme on 22nd August, 2024 in the morning assembly. There was a puspanjali programme, group song by students and a speech by a teacher- Sri Kandha Kochiary. Students from Class VI-X took part in the programme.
