Vivekananda Krida Mahotsav -2025

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEC) Baragolai hosted the 9th Vivekananda Krida Mahotsav- 2025 from 5th to 9th January 2025 along with the celebration of the school’s completion of 25th glorious years of service in the field of education. 456 students from 22 VKVs of Assam and Nagaland took part in it. The Inaugural Programme was graced by Shri PM Prasad, CMD, CIL Margherita. Shri. K. Mere, GM CIL, Margherita and Ma. Hanumanth Rao ji, All India Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari were present in the programme as special guests. Around 3000 people including students, alumni, parents, guardians and well-wishers witnessed the cultural programme of the day. Various indoor and outdoor games including Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, 400 mtr Relay-Race, 100 and 800 mtr Sprint, Long jump, Shot-put, Chess, Traditional Yoga were held during the sports meet. On the day of valedictory and prize distribution programme, Shri Parikshit Thoudam IAS, CDC, Margherita was present as Chief Guest. Ma. Pravin Dabholkar, All India Treasurer, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and Dr. Sovarani Borkotoky Sarmah, Secretary, VKSPV, Guwahati were also present as distinguished guests.  Sri Suvan Sett, Administrative Co-ordinator, VKSPV, Guwahati and Su. Pranati Roy, Regional Administrative Officer, VKSPV,Guwahati coordinated the smooth functioning of the whole programme.
