The VYAKTITYA VIKASH SHIBIR was organised by VKV(NEC) Baragolai under the guidance of VKSPV-Guwahati from 8th to 12th June 2026 for the students of class VI. Total 90 students have attended this 5- days non-residential camp from 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m. In the first day Dr. Jiten Baruah, Assistant Professor from Ledo College was the Chief Guest and Sri D. Rama Rao, Headmaster of Adarsh Hindi Vidyalaya, Baragolai was the Guest of Honour in the Innaugural Day on 8th June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Vidyalaya. He expressed few tips on communication skill, like how to do a respectful communication, because a good leader must have these question.
Accordingly, Sri Rama Rao ji had talked about the importance of the camp. He encouraged the studentsto be kind and disciplined. Students should use mobile phone only for the good cause. They should always use it to learn positive things as negative things may impact them negatively.
The following activities were carried out as per the VKSPV circulars it was briefly mentioned as follows:

* BOUDDIIIK SATRA was conducted in the programme and accordingly the following speakers presented their topics in timely.
1. Swami Vivekananda- our Hero. (Stories regarding courage) patriotism, love for Motherland, feeling for others: Presented by Sri Koumpe Senguptaji. He shared several incidents from Swamiji’s life. Where students got to learn about the Chicago event and highlighted Strength and confidence. He also added that serving humanity is the highest form of worship and with that he concluded his lecture.
2. Srimanta Shankardeva- ( Namghar and its importance, Guru Shishya Parampora, why he visited so many places, Brindavani Bastra and his contribution to the society) - Presented by Smt. Nabanita Nath: She shares the divine stories and lineage of Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardeva and shared so many information based on Gurujanas life.
“KALIYADAMON, RUKMINI HARAN and his great poem “KORTTOL KOMOL, Students get an idea of Gurujanas “Dharma Prasar” of Ek Saran Naam Dharma” .
3. Bharatiya Sanskriti- (Respect to elders, Respect to narture, observing festivals, See God everywhere etc) --- Presented by Sri Brahmanand Drivedi. He elaborates the meaning of Bharatiya Sanskriti, Vasudeva Kutumbakam” Anekata Mei Ekta etc.. It was a very interesting and enlightening session. He highlighted the story of Mahabharata and importance of Tulsi plant in the Indian household and respect to elders.
4. Sanskar Varga how & why ? Through Sanskar Varga how can we develop our personality ? --- Presented by Sri Govind Thapaji. He presented the topic how can we develop our Personality? The concept was given by various stories, Students have to written the important points in their diaries, during the diary writing slot.

GROUP DISCUSSIONS:
1. Leadership quality- Example of Swamiji & Eknathji. Through the stories students have learned about the four qualities a leader must have: Courage, Confidence, Determination and service.
2.Mera Bharat Mahan- I am a student so to be a part of Mahan Bharat how I should prepare myself ? (Swamiji's love for motherland, Eknathji's challenges, Dedication of Kanaklata). Past & present glories of Bharat: Presented by Sri Lochan Goutam. He talked on the various religious and culture that we have in our country. Our India great all of us need to work together. It is our good education, discipline, and respect for others. Our moral values can contribute to the Nations Progress. Students got engaged with a question based on the group discussion topic. Later students presented their answers from each group.
3. Skit presentation on Swamiji, Sister Nivedita, Lachit Barphukan, Eknathji etc.
4. Know your organisation - About Kendra, Branch, School, Activities of Kendra etc.
5. Leadership Quality: highlighted by Susmita Das she talked about some points or qualities where (i) Courage (ii) Confidence (iii) Determination (iv) Service. Through various life events of Swamiji and Eknathji students have learned about of Swamiji and Mananeeya Eknathji.
5. Sanskar Varga: In the Sanskar Varga students learn from Bhajans led by Uttara Baruah didi, Patriotic songs learned by Bornali Didi. One concentrating game played by the students guided by the teachers. The students have learn so many thing, they have enjoyed a lot. Smt. Marami Das presented two moral stories “Believe in Yourself”. A patriotic songs read and follow.
6. Kahani was Hati Ghora Palki Kahaniya Lal Ki., Kahani of Sravan Kumar, Some Agya Abhayas like Utthito Bhava, Nichalla Bhabva etc. and also some slogans on Bharatmata.
7. Geet, Sholkas and Bhajan: Bornali Chakraborty didi taught the Pratah Smaran Shlokas”. She taught patriotic songs to students in all the days in the camp.
8. Skit Presentation:
Two skits were presented by two groups one group by two teachers. The topic or moral of the skit one was “Observe the Things”, Here Swamijis Childhood story with his friends of the tree and the ghost. Second one was “All power is within you. And with self believe and courage one can get to the goal.
9. Group Discussions:
This session was taken by Sri Govind Thapaji” Gata Pramukh Vyavastha”. Here he had started with how we should present ourselves or introduce ourselves is t the world with confidence. Various examples were given on Pike Systems in Ahom, Azad Hind Fauz, Dandi March. He recited a poem “VKV Ke Chhatraa Hai Hum” A story was Boat Making and How the leader have distributed the duties among the group, Mission SLV- 3 failures it real story -Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 1979. Lastly concluded by a song Hum Hunge Kamyab, Ekdin.
In the 4th day Sri Kandha Kochiaryiji spoke about our Kendra , how Kendra Works, the different branches. Students learned about how Kendra works, how it helps in developing our personality and how it helps the story.
Sanaskrit Conversation: In the PDC Sanaskrit conversation taken by Sri Krishna
Bhattarai. Sanaskrit sentences are taught and Geet Abhyas in Sansrit was lead and follow.
10. Lok Geet Presentation: A group of students have performed a Lookgeet “O Jadav, O Madhav”s. Our talented students have performed very well.
11. Experience Sharing: A group of students have shared their experience. Here in English, Hindi and Assamese and Recited Hindi Poem very nicely.
In the Samapon Satra: It was started by group of students from Class-VI. A group presented the Shibir Geet and everyone followed along. Sri Guru Charan Das, Principal, of the Vidyalaya felicitated our Guest Dr. Divya Singh, Senior Medical Officer, CIL, Margherita and Mr. Milind Rao, Deputy Manager, Civil, NEC were being invited as our guests on the Samapon Satra. Both of our respected guests have encouraged the students to express their views confidently, speak up, without hesitation and take positive in sharing their ideas. They motivated the students to be bold, self-assured and attire participants in discussions.
