Vidyalaya celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, parents, teachers, staff members, and well-wishers.As a prelude to the celebration, Yoga Vargas were conducted from 17th to 20th June 2026 in the school Prayer Hall from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The sessions witnessed the participation of parents of Balvatika I students, parents of participants of the CBSE Cluster Tournament, parents of students attending Sanskar Varga, along with teachers and staff members. The Yoga Vargas aimed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and awareness about the importance of yoga in daily life.The main celebration was held on 21st June 2026 at 7:00 a.m. in the presence of the Chief Guest, Sri Bibhuti Bhushan Badhai, Manager, Tikok Colliery. The programme commenced with a song and a brief introduction highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and the role of yoga in achieving harmony between mind and body. In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the school in promoting yoga and encouraged everyone to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine.Participants performed various yogasanas, pranayama, and meditation practices under the guidance of the teachers. The programme successfully conveyed the message of adopting yoga as a way of life for maintaining good health, mental balance, and inner peace.The enthusiastic participation of students, parents, teachers, staff members, and well-wishers made the celebration meaningful and memorable. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective resolve to practise yoga regularly for holistic development.A total of 180 participants attended the main programme, while the daily prelude sessions recorded an average attendance of 60 participants.
