Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEC), Baragolai celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 26th January 2026 in the school premises. The morning programme was held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with active participation from students and teachers. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by an inspiring address by the Principal, Sri Guru Charan Das, highlighting the significance of the Constitution and the duties of responsible citizens. Students presented a group dance, poem recitation, speech, and a group song, all reflecting deep patriotism. Sri Govind Thapa (Office Staff) spoke on important aspects of the nation’s constitution, while patriotic slogans led by Sri Sailesh Bhagat, teacher, filled the atmosphere with energy and pride. The programme concluded with sweet distribution. Later, the school NCC cadets and a dance group participated in the Republic Day celebration at the Margherita Central Field.
