National Youth Day
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, NEC Baragolai observed National Youth Day on 12th January 2026 with great enthusiasm and a spirit of service by organizing programmes at 27 different schools of Ledo, Margherita, Baragolai, Powai and Jagun. Teachers and students of VKV NEC Baragolai actively participated in the outreach programmes conducted at various schools. The celebrations included brief talks on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, short skit on the life of Swami Vivekananda, patriotic song, and quiz that encouraged the youth to develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards society and the nation. Approximately 1905 people took part in the programme. Through these programmes, the message of “Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached” was effectively conveyed, leaving a deep impact on the young minds.
