Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great zeal at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEC), Baragolai on 5th September 2025 to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers. The programme was conducted in three slots to involve students from different classes. The students of Class XII played the role of teachers for the day. The celebration began with Slot I (Classes III to V) at 9:00 am. The programme included Mangalacharan, Swadesh Mantra, Sanskrit Pledge, greeting of teachers, speeches by students, group song and dance, a PowerPoint presentation on Dr Sarve pallavi Radhakrishnan, and a dance performance. Slot II (Classes Balvatika I, II, III & VI to VII) was conducted from 11:20 am to 12:40 pm. The events comprised Mangalaacharan, students’ speech, Swadesh Mantra, Sanskrit Pledge, greetings, cultural presentations in the form of group song and dance, PowerPoint presentation, and Shantipath. The highlight of the day was Slot III (Classes VIII to XII) held from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm. The programme began with a traditional welcome to teachers and Mangalaacharan. Students of Class VIII-XII presented songs, dances, speeches, and a traditional dress presentation. The event also included Sawalo ke Ghere Me (poem recitation, role play, instrumental play), experience sharing, and announcement of the Best Acting Teachers. The celebration concluded with Shantipath. The entire day was filled with vibrant cultural activities, heartfelt speeches, and expressions of gratitude by students. The celebration not only honoured teachers but also reflected the values of respect, discipline, and cultural heritage upheld by the institution.
