Awareness Programme by CIL

A team from CIL, Kolkata visited the school on 20th May 2026 to conduct an awareness programme on the topic "Mutualism in Nature". During the session, students were enlightened on the concept of the Tree's Silent Network (forest community) and how forests function like interconnected communities.The following members visited the school:

1. Dr. Khanindra Pathak, Professor, Department of Mining Engineering, IIT Kharagpur.
2. Mr. Suhrid Chandra, Founder, Harimith Agro Pvt. Limited
3. Dr. Supritt Paul, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Bethune College, Kolkata. 

They were accompanied by Mr. Z. Sailo, Chief Manager (Mining), NEC, CIL, Margherita and Mr. Maruam Das, Manager (Environment), NEC, CIL, Margherita.
