On the auspicious occasion of Rath Saptami, Vivekananda Kendra, Assam Prant organized a continuous 12-hour chain of Surya Namaskar, from sunrise to sunset, at 251 locations across Assam, from Sadiya to Silchar on 25th January 2026. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, NEC Baragolai conducted the programme from 2.30 p.m. onwards at the school prayer hall. Around 111 participants, including teachers, parents, non-teaching staff, and Nagar Samiti members, took part enthusiastically in the event which ended at 4p.m. The programme was graced by our Chief Guest, Sri Debojyoti Buragohain, Retired Physical Instructor, Margherita Public Higher Secondary School, whose presence added inspiration and dignity to the occasion.
