Matri Puja

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEC), Baragolai organized Matri Puja on 29th January 2026 for the mothers of Class X students appearing in the AISSE. The programme was conducted in a serene and devotional atmosphere with the aim of seeking maternal blessings and instilling values of gratitude, discipline, and emotional strength among the students. The ceremony began with rituals and a brief explanation of the significance of Matri Puja, highlighting the role of a mother in shaping the character and future of a child. Class X students participated with deep reverence, performing the puja and seeking the blessings of their mothers. A total of 75 mothers took part in the programme. Teachers guided the students throughout the programme, ensuring discipline and dignity. The Matri Puja concluded with blessings and words of encouragement for the students’ success in the forthcoming AISSE.
