76th Republic Day of India was celebrated in the vidyalaya in a befitting manner. Around 500 people including teachers, students, parents and well-wishers attended the programme which started at 7. 30 a.m. Agendas of the day were unfurling of National Flag, speech by the Principal, patriotic song by students of Class VII, VIII & IX, speech by a student (Abhinab Hazarika, Class VIII), poem recitation by a student (Anshu
Mishra, Class-XI). After the school programme, students of NCC troop went to Central Field of Margherita to participate in the programme organized by Margherita Administration.
The school NCC troop bagged 1st Prize in March Past Competition and best Commander Award by Kr Rounak Tamang of Class IX.
