National Youth Day was celebrated in the school premises on 12th January in a grand way. Sri Saundarya Prasad Dutta, General Manager, NEC (CIL) Margherita was present in the programme as the Chief Guest. Smt Gurmeet Kaur Suri, Sub Divisional Information and Public Relation Officer graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Swami Arunananda
Maharaj, Secretary of Ramkrishna Mission, Digboi was also present in the programme as the Chief Speaker. Besides them the school management committee members, the Heads of eight nearby educational institutions, the Nagar Samiti members, staff reporters of different media and many other well-wishers were invited to the programme. Around 1800 people including the patents, guardians and alumni of the school attended the programme.
