To commemorate the contribution of the brave Ahom Army General LachitBorphukan, Lachit Divas was observed in the school on 24th November 2023. The programme was initiated by the floral tribute at the portrait of the great patriot and supreme commander -in chief of Ahom dynasty, Lachit Borphukan. A patriotic song was sung by a group of students.
It was followed by a speech delivered by Smt.
Pallabita Bharali(teacher) highlighting Lachit Borphukan’s contributions to
preserving Ahom rule and Assamese identity in the face of Mughal imperialism.
