CBSE Cluster-I Kho-Kho Championship 2023

Students of VKV(NEC), Baragolai participated in Kho-Kho Cluster-I Championship on 2023 which wasconducted from 17th to 19th October 2023  at Holy Brook Senior Secondary School, at Tinsukia where 24 students took part (Boys-12 & Girls-12). The following awards were won by the students:

· Girls team bagged the 3rd position in CBSE Far EAST Zone Cluster Kho-Kho Championship.

· Boys team bagged the Second position  and is selected for Nation Level Championship at Suditi Global Academy, Myanpuri, Uttar Pradesh which will be held from 18th November 2023.

District Level National Children’s Science Congress-2023

A team consisting two students and a teacher went to Tinsukia to participate in 31st District Level National Children’s Science Congress-2023 at Shiksha the Gurukul, Hapjan Tinsukia on 31st October 2023. Participants are (a) Km. Shreyashree Kumari (b) Nanglum Sisen. Both are from Class XI, Science.

Postal Examination 2023

The postal department of India organized “Dhai Aakhar” a letter writing competition on 11th October 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 am in offline mode at our school. Students from classes VI to IX, (total 107 students) took part and submitted the handwritten envelops to postal departments. It is conducted by the Superintendent of postal department, Tinsukia, District, Assam.

Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti

Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti was celebrated in the vidyalaya on 2nd October, 2023. The programme started with the offering of floral tribute by Principal and Vice Principal of the Vidyalaya at the portraits of Swamiji, Gandhiji and Sastriji. Students from classes IX to XII were present in the programme. A Speech competition was organized on Shastriji and Gandhiji Jayanti. The following three students were awarded:
